The Power Of The Egregore...

Tonight, we're going to discuss the power of the egregore. Maybe you've heard of this term being used before, the term egregore, and you're wondering, what exactly does that mean? What does that term mean? Where does that word come from? And what are the connotations involved with this?

[00:01:20] You see, an egregore is a type of an autonomous spirit born out of the thought forms of mankind. When you go back and you look into the esoterica and into the old occult teachings, and you find that there is some merits of truth to this way of thinking, because these things do tend to take on a life of their own. This has everything to do with the science of memetics as well.

[00:01:46] You see, the meme is a much more powerful thing than what people realize, and this has become blatantly obvious in the modern age in which we're living, in the computer age, in the social media age. The meme holds a lot of power and sway and influence, and this relates to this notion of the egregore. Now, tonight, we're going to be reading from a book titled,

[00:02:14] Egregores, the Occult Entities that Watch Over Human Destiny, by one Mr. Mark Stavish. And this is an interesting work. This book is fantastic if you're curious about where is this notion of the egregore from, and what does it relate to, because this is one of the only sources that I could find that actually names it by name as the egregore and points out all of the different deviations thereof from this

[00:02:42] as to what these things relate to. And it gives you an outline as to the basic precepts of what this entails. So this is a fantastic book if you can find it to look at in order to better understand. The notion of the egregore and the power behind it, as I had alluded to earlier, it is a spirit of sorts that takes on manifestation of its own after it has been empowered from an external source.

[00:03:11] So this is a very interesting thing. This has to do with the concept of elementals, and this is what some would call a man-made or an unnatural or a synthetic elemental of sorts. And we could look at different examples of egregores and how they've had some real-world influence in the modern era. And most people aren't prepared to even take a look at something like this they don't want to consider because it violates their cognitive dissonance,

[00:03:41] and they want nothing to do with thinking in these terms. You see, the occultists of old and the alchemists of old, they knew that your thoughts influence the reality around you. This holds to be true in a great many ways, and this is evidence thereof that your thoughts can actually birth something external to you that carries on after you have let it loose into the world.

[00:04:09] And this is something that many of the occultists and dark magicians who run things in this world want to keep hidden from the masses. You see, they use your thought forms against you. They use you to bring about the changes in the world that they want, and this is one of the means by which they do this. It's through the creation of a specific type of thought form and the empowering of a thought form by multiple people that gives it an energetic influence

[00:04:37] and spreads it out to affect people beyond the first source thereof or the first target thereof. And this is something that's been leveraged heavily, especially in social media, in the digital realm. This is something massively powerful and influential, and we see an example of this being the meme, and we'll get to a lot of that here as we go. But let's get right into it.

[00:05:06] So we're going to be reading from the preamble here, and we're going to continue for a way, and I don't know how far we'll get here tonight with this, but I want to hit on all the important points. So from the preamble, it says the following is from the Corpus Hermeticum, and we're going to read some of these precepts from the Corpus Hermeticum to give you an idea of the antiquity from which these ideas are sourced. So the notion of the egregore goes back a very long time.

[00:05:36] And the word itself actually has some very interesting meanings when you delve into the etymology of the word egregore, and I've actually covered that on some broadcasts here in the past, but we're going to touch on that here because this is the only other individual I've ever seen who decided to look into the background of where the word egregore comes from and try to suss out exactly what it means. And we'll get to that as we get through the reading here. But first, from the Corpus Hermeticum.

[00:06:06] Every kind of creature is sustained and nourished by the sun. As the spiritual world embraces the physical and fills it out with every different kind of form, so the sun embraces everything in the cosmos, raising up and strengthening all generations. And when they are spent and ebbing away, he receives them back. I'm going to pause for a moment. The sun is the primary information source that we have in this reality.

[00:06:35] Now remember, the sun functions as an information source. It's kind of like the cross-section of a fiber-optic cable. The sun emits data and receives back data in this way when you want to think of it in the modern parlance or more modern terms or ways of thinking. So this is one of the sources from which emanation derives. Comes from the sun. The information comes from the sun.

[00:07:01] And changes in the information field can be leveraged through the utilization of the sun. Why do you think it is these dark controllers in this world want to block out the sun? They don't want you to receive information from the sun. They want to feed you information from elsewhere. Now, you could argue the semantics of this all day long, but just understand. This is the scientific reality when it comes down to it.

[00:07:30] When you begin to explore these things to their inevitable sources, you find that there are some truths that can be found in some of these occult ways of thinking. This is one of them. Nobody would dispute that if the sun was not in the sky, life on earth would not exist. It's irrefutable. We know that the sun powers everything here. That's because of its nature.

[00:07:55] It's not because it's a ball of flaming gas in the sky that emits heat. That's only one thing it emits. But what it does emit primarily is information. Now, you could call this quantum information if you want to make it sound scientific and modern. But there's more to it than that. It goes deeper than that. And the notion that it is the source of information goes back a very long time. This is our connection into counter space, if you want to call it that.

[00:08:25] It's the source at which the nexus point derives from, where information comes from, where the divine information comes from, from our source. And it uses the sun as a conduit to get here. It is very similar to a fiber optic cable. I can't think of a better allegory to describe it, where it transmits information. And this information is picked up by not only the earth itself,

[00:08:54] but by all the creatures on the earth, us inclusive. And information from the sun can help to code your DNA, if you want to use the scientific parlance for this. It sends information directly to your cells, which your cells have this inherent understanding of and can translate into chemical reactions and things of this nature. And this is one of the big secrets behind much of the occult practices

[00:09:23] of the controllers of this world. They know this stuff. They understand this. And they know right now we're sitting in a cycle of time, wherein the information field, the information deriving from the sun as the source that's hitting mankind, is going to be transformative. And it's going to elevate man in a more spiritual sense. It's going to level up man in a more spiritual sense. This is what they understand and what they know.

[00:09:53] And they're trying to quench that. They're trying to quell that. That's why they seek to utilize all of these chemtrails and geoengineering programs and all of this stuff to block out the sun. And that's why they make their fallacious claims that, well, we have all of this global warming or this global climate change going on. So we need to do something about that to stop this runaway climate change. So we're going to block out the sun in order to cool the earth

[00:10:22] and keep all of this from happening, from harmful, destructive things from happening. And that's not the true reason why they do any of this stuff, ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure if you're listening to this, you understand that at this point. There's a connection between the human and the divine that comes from this transmission source, this nexus point that is the sun. And this is a reality. Whether people want to ascribe to that or not,

[00:10:52] there is some truth in that notion. Now, is this the only source of divine information? No, certainly not. But it is the primary conduit by which information gets to us. And that being the case, we could see this connection here being made in the Corpus Hermeticum to the cosmic or the cosmos. The sun embraces everything in the cosmos. We are a microcosm here on the earth.

[00:11:20] And man himself is a microcosm of something grander. And God uses this information field to transmit information to man. The divine, if you want to call it that. Source. But let's get back to the reading because the Corpus Hermeticum outlines a couple other things here that will be important. And all of this is important to lay out before we get into the notion of egregores

[00:11:49] and exactly what an egregore is. The choir of spirits, or rather choirs of spirits, are placed under the command of the sun. Choirs, because there are many different kinds of powers. They are set in formation under the stars and are equal in number to them. Thus arrayed they serve each of the stars. Some of these powers are good and some are evil by nature. That is to say, in their activity.

[00:12:17] For the essence of a spiritual power is its activity. There are also some who are a mixture of good and evil. All these spirits have been given authority over affairs upon earth and over turbulences there. They cause a variety of disorders both publicly in cities and among nations but also in the lives of individuals. For they shape our souls after themselves and arouse them by residing in our sinews,

[00:12:44] in our marrow, veins, and arteries, and even our brain, penetrating as deep as our very entrails. I'm going to pause for a moment. Now even the Bible mentions a hierarchy of spiritual powers, also known as a divine council in some eschatological circles and some of the circles that study Christian theology. the divine council, or this hierarchy of powers,

[00:13:13] there are certain angelic beings and there's orders of angels that are given some dominion over certain aspects of things that happen in this world. And we see all of this discussed in the occult literature as well where we have this notion of these spirits or intelligences that guide and direct natural order here. And there's also some that have been misapplied and misused towards the inversion principle of the natural order.

[00:13:42] And we'll get to that here later. But just so we are aware, there exists a hierarchy of spiritual powers that have influence here. And you could call it intelligences, you could call it spirits, you could call it forces, whatever you want to refer to it as. It doesn't matter. The notion is the same, regardless of how you approach what exactly this is or how it functions.

[00:14:09] Understand it has intelligence to it. It does things intelligently. And we can derive this from looking at nature itself. We can see that things seem to happen by an intelligent design. And it defies explanation to be able to understand how this all operates. This has to do with the spirit of life itself. How does life emerge and reproduce

[00:14:37] and carry on all the functions thereof at the appropriate times if there is not some intelligence guiding it? Think about that. The seasons are a perfect example of this. Look at the seasons. The plants know when to grow. They know when to drop their seed. And they know when the temperature is going to get warmer or colder. Somehow, intrinsically, they know

[00:15:07] there's an intelligence there. Now, some would argue in the materialist science mainstream that it's all because of temperature. But that doesn't seem to be true. You can observe some of these things happening even if the temperature for some reason is unseasonably warm or cool. It only occurs when it's supposed to right on time according to the seasons. That's because there's an intelligence inherent there. And this relates to this hierarchy

[00:15:37] of spiritual powers that has a lot of influence here. But let's continue into the Corpus Hermeticum here. And then we'll get into the main text of what the program's about here tonight. Through these instruments, God himself creates all this and all things partake of God. Since this is so, they are God. Going to pause for a moment. I don't necessarily agree with that statement that nature itself is God. I don't agree. I think

[00:16:06] that there's a misunderstanding applied by the occultists in this regard. But I do reserve the right to be wrong about that. But we are influenced by these powers, by this hierarchy of powers. And we do have this divine spark of God within us. So you could argue the semantics of that statement all you'd like. But I'll just lay out that caveat. I don't necessarily agree with that. I think God exists external

[00:16:35] as well as internal to all of this. Maybe this natural order is a part of God, but it is not the whole of God, if you want to put it that way. It is not the all-encompassingness of God. It is separate to God. God is the creator and the creator is separate from the creation. But he does permeate within the creation. This is where I disagree with many of the things put forward by many of the occultists

[00:17:05] in the modern era. But anyway, enough of that little aside. Let's get to it. Therefore, in creating all things, he creates himself, and he can never cease to create, for he himself never ceases to be. As God has no end, so his handiwork has neither beginning nor end. And that's the end of the portion of the Corpus Hermeticum that we're going to be reading from here in the preamble of this book. And we see a great many

[00:17:35] things revealed already in the preamble. notice, there are intelligent essences, forces, entities, powers, spirits, that guide and direct things that manifest in the natural world. And there are also these other types of ideas inherent there. That the creation is always ever evolving. because God is always creating. He is the creator.

[00:18:05] And he never ceases to create. It's an act of becoming or being. Being. We are always changing. Change is inevitable. We are a reflection of that on the microcosm. So that's what's being pointed out. There's a lot of wisdom to be garnered from the hermetic principles and the old hermetic ideas. But at any rate, we're going to continue here.

[00:18:36] And we're going to explore now how does what we just read relate to this notion of egregore and what exactly is this. We're going to get into the crux of the primary focus here now. For those interested in the academic study of esotericism, the concept of egregores may simply be seen as a quaint relic of an earlier time, a holdover from our ancient past and therefore of little practical consequence. For those on the spiritual path, any

[00:19:06] spiritual path, being introduced to the concept of egregores is often a life-changing encounter. Instantly, many old ideas and experiences are made clear, and a field of questions opens up before them. They re-examine their path in a new light and find that regardless of their being part of an organized group or a solo practitioner, large areas of their practice were under the indirect or direct influence of one or many psychic

[00:19:35] entities of which they were completely unaware. I'm going to pause for a moment here. Now we're getting somewhere. Now the author here is talking about these psychic entities having direct or indirect influence on people regardless of whatever their spiritual practice was. And this is inherent in all things. This is the important thing to remember. So whether there's truth

[00:20:04] or not to various belief systems is irrelevant. The point is, even if there is truth and they are on the right path, there are these types of psychic entities which can either manipulate that or feed off of that or feed into that whether they be positive or negative. This is the important thing. These spiritual or psychic entities or powers

[00:20:34] forces whatever you want to call them largely oftentimes are neutral in their approach but they can have either a positive or a negative influence on people. Keep that in mind. I know this is outside of the normal box of thinking for most people and I know that a lot of this is a bridge too far for some but I like to approach these ideas with an open mind

[00:21:04] and recognizing some of the inherent value in what's being shown here because there are some tenets of truth to what's represented here. We are surrounded by spiritual forces entities powers however you want to view this within our reality. Invisible forces in the invisible worlds that penetrate into ours and affect cause and effect sequences here in our physical manifestation reality. So it's important we recognize

[00:21:34] this and recognize that there are intelligences involved in directing these things and some of these fall into this camp or category of what you would call an egregore. Now let's go ahead and continue reading here. For those engaged in practical occultism that is the manipulation of energies for some kind of spiritual or material result, egregores are often nothing new but rarely understood

[00:22:03] as too often they are given the status of a priori goodness. Many groups speak in veiled but confident and positive terms about their leader or group and by extension its members being connected to a powerful egregore in inner contact or some similar term. When examined in the light of this monograph and more traditional ideas associated with egregores, these students can reevaluate their connections to these invisible forces and decide

[00:22:33] for themselves if these contacts have been beneficial or detrimental to their personal awakening. I'm going to pause for a moment before we get further into this just to point out that what the author here is pointing out is for those who are involved in what he calls practical occultism that would be those who belong to some occult fraternity or secret society group that practice some of these magical teachings now 99% of the time

[00:23:03] these various magical orders or occult societies they have a head of the order oftentimes referred to as either the outer head of the order or the inner head of now some of them have become quite powerful

[00:23:32] because of all of the energy derived from people within these groups that direct their focus upon this egregore you see it's kind of almost like a type of vampirism of sorts your energy feeds into this thought form and builds it up and at some point it becomes so powerful that it can separate itself from you the empowerer of the egregore or those attached to it and it can

[00:24:02] move about of its own accord and influence other people into giving it energy or life if you want to call it that and we see a lot of this within the auspices of many of these magical occult fraternities now we could get a little bit deeper into that later and perhaps we will or perhaps that'll be the subject for another broadcast here but let's get back to the

[00:24:32] reading here what is an egregore pay close attention folks the word egregore is Greek in origin and is derived from egregoros meaning wakeful or watcher the word is found in in the book of enoch wherein it is described as an angelic being the watchers understand a little bit something more

[00:25:02] about the nature of the egregor and how this may be something beyond just your standard occult definition they give you of it being some type of a thought form perhaps it originates as a thought form but then it becomes ensouled or empowered by something else perhaps some type of fallen angelic entity keep that in mind watchers if you're familiar with the book of enoch or if you're

[00:25:32] familiar with the term nephilim and all of the things surrounding genesis chapter 6 you could begin to connect some dots here and understand something a little deeper maybe some of these egregores as they're classically described in occultism as being a type of elevated thought form maybe they are ensouled by a higher power of some sort and are able to individuate themselves in a certain way because of that

[00:26:03] let's continue reading here though the book of Enoch is ascribed to Enoch the grandfather of Noah and while non-canonical it has attracted some theological and historical interest by the major Jewish and Christian denominations for a section of it known as the book of the watchers this section is thought to have been written around 300 BCE the only extant version that exists is in the south semitic language of Ge'ez

[00:26:32] originating from the horn of Africa while the original text may have been in Hebrew or Aramaic no complete early text in either language survives the main themes of this book held in common by many mystics practitioners of the occult and even Christian fundamentalists concern 200 fallen angels their interbreeding with human women the subsequent creation of a race of giants also known as the Nephilim whose destruction in the biblical flood receives mention in

[00:27:01] Genesis and a coming apocalyptic battle between good and evil a mention of the Nephilim from the book of Enoch is as follows quote and they became pregnant and they bear great giants whose height was 300 elves who consumed all the acquisitions of flesh and

[00:27:31] drink the blood end quote and a second quote from the book of Enoch in regards to the watchers the fallen angelic beings and those creatures that they birthed the giants the Nephilim quote and Azazel taught men to make swords and knives and shields and breastplates and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them and bracelets and ornaments and the use

[00:28:01] antimony and the beautifying of the eyelids and all kinds of costly stones and all coloring tinctures and there arose much godlessness and they committed fornication and they were led astray and became corrupt in all their ways Semyaza taught enchantments and root cuttings Armeros the resolving of enchantments Barakodal taught astrology Kokabel the constellations Ezekiel the knowledge of the clouds Araikio the

[00:28:31] signs of the earth Shamsiel the signs of the sun and Sariel the course of the moon end quote so there's a lot contained within the book of enoch and you can find all of this if you wanted to do a very extensive study on these things but there's a lot in the literature speaking about these fallen angelic beings and their influence on early mankind and their interbreeding with

[00:29:01] mankind according to some watcher and this is how many of these fallen angelic beings were referred to as watchers in the book of enoch so I find it very interesting that we have that attachment made here but let's go ahead and we will continue reading the most commonly

[00:29:31] used definition taken from wiktionary.org is as follows quote a however there is a second definition an older more significant and perhaps more frightening one and we're speaking of course of the term egregore here an egregore is more than an autonomous entity composed of and influencing the thoughts of a group of people it is

[00:30:00] also the home or conduit for a specific psychic intelligence of a non-human nature connecting the invisible dimensions with the material world in which we live this in fact is the true source of power of the ancient cults and their religious magical practices going to pause for a moment so now this is said to be a much older definition of the term egregore and it does seem to match one to one with the description of the watchers

[00:30:30] from the book of Enoch now this is an important concept to keep in mind so even though in the modern occult language it's entirely thought of as just being composed of and influencing the thoughts of a group of people so it's thought to be largely just some type of thought form that is empowered somehow when the group mind or the group collective projects their energy to it

[00:30:59] and it draws from that but that's only part of the truth behind the egregore as we see here so as I had tried to illuminate it earlier it would seem that there is some type of a spirit that will in soul this thought form at a certain point and then it breaks off from the group who began to contribute energies

[00:31:30] into the creation of the egregore and it becomes independent of that and then it can affect others and have a real influence in other places as well now it's revealed here by where the ancient cults or the mystery religions mystery cults mystery schools where they derived their power you see the entities or the

[00:32:01] gods if you want to call it that of the mythos that they followed were empowered by such an egregor or a watcher being this is where they derived their power from keep that in mind Mauni Sadu a Polish occultist of the French Russian Martinist lineages defines an egregor in his seminal work the tarot as quote a collective entity such as a

[00:32:31] nation state religions and sects and their adherents and even minor human organizations the structure of egregors is similar to that of human beings they have belong to that particular egregor and also astral and mental ones the egregor being the sum total of all these elements end quote so now we're beginning to understand something a little bit further about an egregor

[00:33:00] it's kind of like a hive mind hmm where have this one to one with our physical beings our physical bodies you can begin to understand a few things about what's the true nature of transhumanism if you could understand

[00:33:29] this concept so the egregor is the sum of all of these elements it has an astral and a mental existence separate from the collective in the physical here but it can permeate into the physical and in some cases possess the physical in order to get things done that it wants to here and it can

[00:33:59] permeate through entire groups and influence the way they think and how it is an interesting juxtaposition to think about and you're not going to hear this anywhere else ladies and gentlemen there's nobody talking about this in these terms as I'm trying to lay them out to you and

[00:34:29] that's why I found this book to be hugely important it is one of the only sources that talks about the origins of the term and is able to actually draw to its roots most who are involved in the occult have heard the term egregore and they understand this basic new modern meaning of it as it's been given here but they don't seem to connect the dots with the other elements of it that we're speaking of

[00:35:10] colgate colgate colgate university in new york state who dedicates a chapter aptly titled the power of the egregore to it in his book called the golden thread and i'm going to pause for a moment and i do intend to get a copy of the golden thread and look at what it

[00:35:40] within a very select or niche group within academia that talk about this stuff that's one of the services that i really fully intend to provide for people by doing this podcast is to get this type of information out there so that more people could understand what it is that goes on behind the scenes in this world around us so they have a better grip on the how and why to

[00:36:10] the happenings of things in this world it all relates back to this stuff and there's very few that talk about this or consider this so it's important that we get that information out there and it's important that people can look into this for themselves so I try to give you resources to work with so now we have two books at which we could look in regards to understanding more about this notion of the egregor and we're giving you some of the important bits here tonight

[00:36:39] Godwin traces the origin of egregors at least in the west to the semi animistic beliefs of ancient Greek and Rome sources and the intimate relationship that the ancient cults practiced and had on a daily life as well as on foreign affairs this is critical because here we see that every aspect of life had a sacred component to it and that in the proper execution of one's duties the visible and invisible worlds are kept in harmony from the perspective

[00:37:09] of classical religion and with it politics gonna pause for a moment yes politics itself has become a at the back of that behind the veil of that that influence things in this direction it is a sort of egregore a political state can be empowered by an egregore what do you think MAGA

[00:37:39] is about what do you think the other side of that is about the liberal ideologies it's empowered by a spiritual essence ladies and gentlemen there's more to it than just human beings disagreeing on policy notes there's a spirit to it and once you understand that you begin to understand everything as to the causative factors of things that happen in this world you see

[00:38:09] I'm not speaking in euphemisms when I tell you it's a spiritual battle at the core of it that is the absolute truth that is absolute veritas that that is what is at the back of everything in this world right now it's the fight between good and evil and we are often led astray by those things that we think are good but they are spirits in

[00:38:39] disguise that are trying to lead us into acting in ways that are not congruent with our best interests and we all fall victim to this in one way or another even though we think we're doing right or we're doing what is for the collective good the greater good oftentimes the spirit leading that is leading us to a place that's

[00:39:09] destructive to ourselves and to those we care about so we need to be careful we need to be cautious we need to be discerning in the spirit of things and we see this manifest in so many different ways well meaning people seem to back policies and back actions and things that happen in this world that they should not be backing that goes against or counter to what it is that their ethical or moral

[00:39:38] obligations cling to for example we can look and this will be a controversial statement right here but you know what it's true you have many good intentioned well meaning evangelical Christians who back the Zionist nation state of Israel and everything it does despite some of Judaism

[00:40:08] and what you need to understand is the people the Zionists who run this whole escapade they're not representative of the true religion or nature of Judaism they're Zionists it's something separate has happened it's a type of egregore of its own that has taken control and tried to usurp the true belief or the true religious notions or the faith of the people and replace it with a political

[00:40:37] ideology and this political Zionism has taken root and has been able to conflate in people's minds the juxtaposition between the state of Israel the nation state of Israel in the modern era and the Israel of the Bible and they are two separate things and the spirit thereof is something entirely different but many well-meaning Christian evangelicals fall into that trap

[00:41:07] and they support things that by the very nature of their religious faith and ideology they should not be backing but this is the type of trap we fall into this is where in things like this get a little devious this this is where the power of the egregore takes hold and oftentimes leads people astray even though they're well-meaning and even though they can have some positive influences and

[00:41:37] not all of these spirit of egregore type things are negative in application some of them are positive as we've said you see it's kind of a neutral commodity it could go one way or the other just like we have good human beings and bad human beings it's a tool like anything else the problem is oftentimes at back of this tool that is the egregore it is empowered by some type

[00:42:07] of a negative entity that steps in takes over the original intention of it and inverts it and steps out unto its own and becomes a power unto itself this is what I'm trying to relate here now most people in modern occultism think of the egregore as we had stated earlier it's a type of thought form that is empowered by a group of individuals and then it does have a kind of influence over

[00:42:36] that group of individuals and sometimes outside of that group of individuals but that's where they draw the line and they say that's all it's part of the workings of the magic that they use it's the creating of this egregore there's other terms that fall under this umbrella too or categorization and there's slight differentiations and variations in

[00:43:08] and that once it's sent out it performs its mission and then that's it that's the end of it well what happens what I'm telling you and what the author of this piece is

[00:43:38] referring to here now there are other magical terms as I was alluding to that sometimes they use describing the same type of thing to a greater or lesser degree now a lesser form of an egregore is referred to in magical workings as a servitor and this goes out and performs a function and then once that function is performed then that's all then it is said to dissipate or return back to the original source and

[00:44:08] nothing more comes of this but this type of an idea can evolve into something greater and we're going to touch on ideas like the tolpa or the tolku a little later which are related to the egregore and once again we can look at all this stuff and see how a lot of this crosses the bounds into modern occultism into different terminology that they use to describe these magical functions and

[00:44:38] these intelligences that actually perform the feats or operations of magic that they use and there's also some of this that goes on a little bit more covertly within the auspices of the public mind now a lot of this relates to politics and religion as well these ideals sometimes take hold in their influence people in ways that otherwise they would not be

[00:45:08] influenced and we just spoke to that to one example of that but let's go ahead and we'll continue with the reading here

[00:46:45] priest class as Godwin points out given the relationship of the visible and invisible in which the grave was seen as one's final destination the ancient gods to whom cults were dedicated and offerings made in some ways may have needed human religion more than humans did there is an occult concept of the a term derived from the Greek word for watcher it is used for an immaterial entity

[00:47:15] that watches or presides over some earthly affair or collectivity the important point is that an egregore is augmented by human belief ritual and especially by sacrifice if it is sufficiently nourished by such energies the egregore can take on a life of its own and appear to be an independent personal divinity with a limited power on behalf of its devotees and an unlimited appetite for further devotion goddess an

[00:47:44] angel or a demon going to pause for a moment and that is from Godwin's work that was cited here so we see once again this notion that it's empowered by human belief ritual and especially by sacrifice and it can at

[00:48:14] as we've discussed here earlier now why is that because perhaps there are some darker powers at play that would sort of ensole or enliven this egregore or this deviant thought form that becomes independent of the group that it came from a lot of different ways of thinking about this remember it has

[00:48:45] aside from the group that gives its power over to it or that gives it nourishment through its energies now often times these energies that are given to an egregore are of the more negative sort their negative emotions fear hatred envy pain and remember sacrifice

[00:49:15] is involved here as well so you can understand much of what's been laid out here by this godwin fellow in that regard but let's continue and we're going to explore more ways of thinking about this more avenues of thought pertaining

[00:50:36] there the real death stroke lay in the nature of these new religions these mystery cults from Greece Persia Egypt Palestine and Syria offered something Roman religion did not personal salvation or rather survival after physical death going to pause for a moment here and now we're beginning to see a clearer picture of how this relates to historical events

[00:51:06] and how the occultists explain these things you can understand there are some merits to what they're saying there are some notions of truth to be found here but in my view it's actually the power of Jesus Christ himself and the acceptance of Rome as their state religion of Christianity as one of the things that was the final nail

[00:51:47] had a real effect in this world by sending his only begotten son here and having had that influence spread across the Roman Empire much of the powers of these egregores were broken because people began to look for something else they yearned for something greater this is the key even in modern humanity you see we have this void or this vacuum in our

[00:52:17] heart that could only be filled by God by our connection or relationship to God and we have this yearning for this divine connection and for this salvation or afterlife and that's something that many of these mystery cults did not offer they sought to fill that vacuum that void in the human heart with all kinds of other things and we see a lot of that that goes on today as well but it can't be filled by anything other

[00:52:46] than this relationship with God the creator himself and therefore what's happened now is people began to see there was something more those that followed these mystery religions and mystery cults of antiquity there's something more they desired more they had hope they were offered hope that's something ancient man didn't have a lot of in many of these old systems

[00:53:16] but let's continue reading based on these metaphysical premises Godwin suggests and the author of this piece agrees that for a city nation or empire to exist its devotees must be focused on life in the material world to some degree and of course it says in parentheses we'll say more about this later I don't disagree with that I think there is some notion of truth to that you see empire would have us focus on material world things wouldn't it

[00:53:46] government wants you to focus on material world things money housing food shelter transportation all of the trappings of this world they don't want you to think in terms of anything spiritual or moral they just want you concerned with the physical trappings of all of it when their direction is turned otherworldly the cults of family and state the cults of blood become weakened and are

[00:54:16] simply a jumping off point for the individual instead of an end in themselves when combined with the demands of time and intellectual and emotional commitment that mystery religions demanded of their members initiates of the secret way little or no energy was left for the traditional egregor as Godwin says quote I am suggesting that the rise and fall of nations is intimately bound up with their relations with their gods and that these are real entities even

[00:54:46] though they are not the eternal all powerful beings they are reputed to be this seems to be a theory worthy of consideration by anyone who can admit that the universe is a very strange place and that there is plenty of room in it has done so after its fashion end quote so you can see here that Godwin was suggesting that

[00:55:16] nationalistic spirits are a real spirit into and of themselves and can become a have been replaced by nationhood or nationality or national pride you see

[00:55:45] it's another form of an egregore type spirit that becomes manifest and it takes the place of something else the true spiritual concerns of mankind you see we yearn for that connection to God and sometimes we look in all the wrong places for it now many people have found this connection to the nation the country the land of the free however you want to see this or whatever

[00:56:15] nation it is sometimes they find that as an adequate for them at the time replacement for this connection to God and it's not necessarily a good thing that does not adequately fill that void in the human spirit but these egregores will take advantage of that and we see how nationalism or political ideologies have taken place taken the place of some type of

[00:56:45] a role of a relationship with our creator and thus this takes on a life of its own and becomes an empowered egregore of sorts let's read on we the

[00:57:16] egregore exists at both ends of the spectrum as well as across it from the dense material world to the subtle and intangible psychic domain we also hear this concept repeated in the Christian scriptures although as we will see there is disagreement among authorities on whether this constitutes an egregore in either the classical or modern sense of the word paraphrased from Matthew chapter 18 verse 20 when two or more are gathered in my name

[00:57:46] I don't dispute that claim I think that's a very real possibility but that's not the true connection to God that is present in some

[00:58:15] of the church bodies out there but you always have this infiltration goes on through all religions through all cultures and through all organizations that mankind has there's infiltration of these dark spiritual forces that take hold the same could be said of anything but anyway this author here continues and goes on and talks about three

[00:58:45] questions that this book will address all of the above reference points then give rise to three questions question number one what is the impact of an egregore on the individual his destiny and free will number two who or what manages the collective physical body of the group by way of the invisible and number three how is the management performed and to what ends now these are all interesting questions you have to keep in mind basically

[00:59:15] the question is who's running the show oftentimes what happens is you have manipulative people who think they're running the show you have these dark occultists who run things at the top of the power structure and their minions the technocrats and they think they're running the show but they're getting their directions from some outside spiritual intelligence this would be the type of

[00:59:45] egregore if you want to call it that I think it's perhaps something that's elevated itself beyond the bounds of being in egregore though we could argue the semantics of it all day long if you'd like but certainly these are the questions we have to ask and I'm giving you some of the conclusions I've come to in much of my research as of right now I do reserve the right to be

[01:00:25] guide and direct those at the top of the power structure in acting in certain ways and these spiritual intelligences guide and direct things in the greater information field in which we look the zeitgeist if you will and they often put little bits of metadata out there into this greater information field that plant implant ideas into the human psyche or the human unconscious mind and many of these

[01:00:55] things become manifest through this influence through this subtle process in the invisible realms by planting seeds here in the visible realms and things begin to manifest and you can steer certain agendas by manipulating these little bits of metadata and I think that's what goes on by these entities these intelligences these spiritual intelligences that guide those that we would accept as the ones

[01:01:25] in charge of this human power structure those that I would call the dark occultists who run things and just beneath them their minions the technocrats they get their marching orders from this spiritual side from these dark spiritual entities these types of egregores or watchers remember there is a much darker connotation and a much more powerful connotation when you look at it in terms of

[01:01:55] watchers now it's kind of become diluted diluted and diluted as well diluted and diluted within modern occultism as to what this notion of the egregore truly is you see many who practice these magical rites and belong to these secret society groups and dark occult fraternities that practice some of these magical things they think they're much more powerful than what

[01:02:25] they are and they are diluted by these egregore spirits they think they're the ones generating this egregore or empowering this egregore and in a certain sense they do empower it but they don't control it and they think that they are in control of it and they are not this is where they become deceived so we see this going on but let's get back to the

[01:02:55] reading here it is these questions that we will answer to some degree in the following pages in addition we will look at the critical process whereby one can free oneself from the influences of egregores as well as the means of directly destroying them when the and some of the applications

[01:03:25] thereof can be useful for anybody who may have fallen into the trap of joining one of these occult fraternities or some such thing and then being influenced by the egregore of that group this can give you some useful insights into how to break free of that power of the egregore but I want to

[01:03:54] try to get as much into this as I can for right now but the point here is these egregores are more than what they seem and most won't even give this the time of day this thinking in these ways they don't even want to approach this type of a subject to acknowledge that there are spiritual forces or intelligences that can guide and direct things in this world that

[01:04:24] can influence the psyches of men and this is an uncomfortable truth for most especially those that are caught up in this hyper materialist paradigm they don't want to think in these terms they don't want to acknowledge that there's something beyond this visible reality that we can see that does exist when most certainly these spiritual realities are just as real if not more so than this physical illusion this mariah

[01:04:54] in which we live anyway let's get back to the reading we bring this information to your attention so that as a student of the esoteric path you may make a conscious and informed decision about your participation in various egregores if your work is more academic than practical then at least you will be aware of the critical role this concept has had and continues to play not only in esoteric groups but

[01:05:24] in certain political and economic activities as well as in various forms of entertainment and how they are easily supported by the mass media I'm going to pause for a moment now this author is 100% correct on all of these things he just named 100% and see my whole point

[01:05:54] I'm bringing this information to you so that you know it so that you have a grasp of it in your mind and you can understand the ways in which this stuff is manipulated now I don't recommend actually trying to apply many of the principles that are inherent in these magical teachings or the various things associated with them but it does not hurt to have the knowledge and when you have the knowledge then you understand better what's being

[01:06:24] leveraged and utilized and then the next step is to develop wisdom regarding this knowledge and let me tell you the greatest wisdom you could have with any of this knowledge is knowing not to apply this knowledge in a way in which you disempower others and empower only yourself I

[01:06:54] stand in the camp of somebody that likes to study the theoretical aspects of how it works and understand the theoretical aspects of how it of a directed way you see I apply this knowledge

[01:07:24] in understanding in seeing what's being pointed at me and knowing a little something about it so that it doesn't have an effect on me as much as it would otherwise that is how I see the proper usage of this type of information I don't think the practical application of it in an occult sense is where we should be but at any rate I digress on that point I'm just putting the information out there for you

[01:07:54] so that you know and I pray you have the wisdom to apply that information in the way that it should be applied not in the way that would benefit you in some way to apply it to greedy personal ends that's not what I'm about but I want to put that information out there for you and hope you have the discernment and the wisdom to do the right things but at any rate let's get back to it so of

[01:08:23] course as I had described here this is a more academic approach to this but we see the author points out that politics economics entertainment especially through mass media this is all wherein the power of an egregore can take hold and have an influence to this end let us allow the words of 20th century French alchemist Jean Dubois to act as our friend and guide the following excerpt is from the lessons of instruction

[01:08:53] he wrote for the philosophers of nature an esoteric school in which no collective rituals were held so as to limit the formation of any egregore going to pause for a moment just to point out that it seems this Dubois fellow had some wisdom he knew not to apply this knowledge in a way in which he benefited from some empowerment or creation of an egregore of sorts for this group he knew better

[01:09:24] that's the mark of wisdom but let's see what he says here quote this is from Dubois writing we have serious reasons in insisting that each student work on acquiring the greatest possible mental freedom for himself in the physical world genuine initiation is a complete liberation how can your higher self help you liberate yourself if you don't do it for yourself in the realm already accessible to you a second significant

[01:09:54] reason for insisting on this point is the subject of egregores what is an egregore it is wrong therefore each individual who is involved in a group receives the influences of the egregores that is the astral counterpart of the group

[01:10:23] in his psyche the process is unconscious the resulting drawbacks are first some perturbing psychic influences in the majority of cases and second a restriction of inner freedom it is impossible to free oneself from certain egregores however we should free ourselves from all egregores that are not essential be cautious mental freedom should not transform us into dropouts or misfits it should simply open the freedom

[01:10:53] of the inner path while liberating us from unnecessary obstacles end quote so now we are you beginning to connect the dots with this with some of the more modern agendas that are being produced in front of our very

[01:11:23] eyes right now as we speak are you beginning to as of late and of course the ideology of transhumanism is inherent with this artificial intelligence notion it is the ultimate goal of transhumanism for mankind

[01:13:38] various egregores and things of that nature but for the purposes of tonight's broadcast I think that we could just leave it right here and we'll point out there's a principal symbol that was mentioned here that shows up in Rosicrucianism for a new millennium volume 9 what is this principal symbol of a beneficial egregore well it's the rose

[01:14:07] of the rose cross according to what that publication tells you now is that telling you something about the Rosicrucian brotherhood is there an egregore of sorts in play with that well most likely it would seem all of these occult fraternities have some type of a present egregore even many mainline religions have an egregore of sorts that is empowered within that group within that religious practice

[01:14:37] even political parties we have this essence of a group spirit or group mind a group astral body as it's described here it's external to the physical but it does have an influence on the behaviors and the minds of people within the group it has influence that's why many of these ideologies seem to take hold in a

[01:15:07] person's personality in ways that doesn't seem logical that's why people oftentimes will defend their political party let's use that as an example even though they have done things that don't agree with their overall moral or ethic values they will still defend the party why is that it's because of this egregore it defends itself it influences their

[01:15:37] thought forms it influences the way they think and the way they the concept of the meme as it relates to the egregore as well it's a very similar concept the meme is slightly something different memetics is an actual type of

[01:16:07] science unto itself but there is a type of spirit about it an independence that the meme can take on in and specifically on words to express its idea it's more about an image and the image is a massively important thing in understanding a lot of these occult

[01:16:37] precepts because man before he thought in terms of words or language thought in the forms of images and this is what it is said to be like within some of these other spiritual realms of existence the astral it's all images rather than words or language being conveyed imagery imagery is the important part so a meme it draws upon the image more than

[01:17:07] it does the words or the language now when you understand another important aspect of things you know language is the instrument of spirit in this physical world and therefore we need this in order to adequately express ideas but the image kind of predates that in the evolutionary track of the spirit of man so the image attached

[01:17:36] to language this is like a one two punch this is like double enhanced power and this is what makes the meme such a powerful tool in era in which we live it's the combination of language with the image the image in and of itself is a symbol that could represent something that can't be appropriately expressed in just words or language alone and then

[01:18:06] if you combine language with that like I said this really gives a type of power to that image generated via the meme now is it a type of spirit that's the other question it is a thought form and it is a type of egregore in the new occult sense the modern occult sense but does it have this backing of the watcher ideology to it

[01:18:36] I don't know but I do know memetics are a powerful tool that can be used and it does hearken on to this notion of the egregore but we need to be careful not to abuse this type of a tool you see we need to understand the spiritual undertones of how all this

[01:19:06] works and operates and how these things when they are not carefully utilized can take on a life of their own and be misused or misapplied in certain ways and bring about irreparable harms so as with any of this what I can convey to you is the most important aspect to all of it is intention intent is everything

[01:19:37] and when a new idea or thought form emerges into the greater zeitgeist it's the intention behind it that's important but understand that thought and

[01:20:21] invert to be taken seriously and most people will not want to even approach anything close to this in their ways of thinking or in any type of practical study of any sort but these are the concepts that are known and utilized and manipulated by these dark occultists who run things and by those various spiritual intelligences behind the scenes that guide them this is what is

[01:20:50] leveraged against the masses all the time and we ignorantly walk around totally unaware of such things well my mission is to make that ignorance a thing that is less pervasive in this world you see the more aware of these concepts you are the less they can affect you and that's the importance of learning and understanding this stuff not so that we could

[01:21:20] apply it in a way something that these dark occultists do I'm not about that I just want people to understand what's going on around them to know what's been leveraged against them so it doesn't affect them like I said the more you know about these kinds of things the less effect it has on you you see it coming a mile away that's what is the important concept

[01:21:50] that I try to get across with you look out there the more you recognize it and can read it the less effect it will have on you you know what they're doing they're telegraphing it from a mile away you can see it coming and therefore that disempowers what it is that these

[01:22:20] dark occultists and these dark powers behind the scenes are trying to bring into manifestation here and the more of us that are aware of these things the better the more it disempowers them from getting their agenda in play that's the

[01:24:04] They are not as smart as they would like you to believe that they are. They've trusted too much with too many ineffectual people, what I call ineffectual middle management. That's what's happened with many of these technocrats running around. They're a bunch of idiots who've been trusted, entrusted by these dark occultists who run things with systems and tools and the ability to do things that they just keep dropping the ball with.

And this is coming home to roost for them because there's people like myself and others out there who are beginning to analyze all of these things and reverse engineer the scripts that they've put in play in this reality. And the more we recognize those things and point them out to the masses and the more people that could see this know a little something
