[00:01:32] the works of Emanuel Swedenborg and we're going to look at his publication, one of the books that he wrote. And this guy was a prolific writer. He was quite an author, animistic, and he wrote all of

[00:01:46] his original transcripts in Latin. And this is a translation from the Latin. We're going to be looking into his book titled The Final Judgment and the Destruction of Babylon. All the predictions of the apocalypse now fulfilled from things heard and seen. This was originally published for the

[00:02:04] first time in 1758. The edition we're reading from is an English translation from 1913. So we're going to look into this, but prior to reading from Swedenborg's work, we'll just do a little

[00:02:20] bit of quick background on who this guy was and how he wound up being so prominent in occult circles. You see, there's a lot in the secret society groups that hold this guy in high esteem. They think he was illumined. He was one who became illumined and although

[00:02:41] they don't have any official records of his belonging to any of the occult fraternities, they think that he was somehow initiated into one of these secret orders because of the things he knew.

[00:02:59] Now, that may be the case or maybe not. Or maybe this was one of the people that went through the natural process that they call initiation rather than going through the secret schools in order to become educated on these things. Perhaps this is one of those

[00:03:18] individuals that falls into that category and we've discussed this in the past because I will still say to this day, based upon all the things that I've seen in research through the years, the initiation process offered by the secret society groups is a synthetic

[00:03:35] initiation process. It is not the way that the natural world had intended for people to go through this experiential phase that we call life here and to learn and to grow and to develop spiritually. It's not a natural thing that is offered from the secret society groups.

[00:03:55] They've taken a stance here with this where they've put together a one-size-fits-all initiation right and ritual for all of the members of their fraternities and many of these initiation rituals look very much the same across all of the secret society groups.

[00:04:11] And they're based upon the old mystery schools and the mystery religions of antiquity. They went through these secret esoteric processes in order to achieve this enlightenment or illumination as they often refer to it. And the rituals and rites they put together

[00:04:36] are a synthetic version of a natural process. You see, the true alchemical path or natural path for people is different for each individual and you don't have that in the secret society groups.

[00:04:50] They put you through the same initiatory rites in all of them. Every member that goes through goes through the same initiation and this is not how things work in the natural realm of things. You see, it's largely subjective and experiential and it comes down to the individual. It's

[00:05:10] different for each and every individual but that's not how they have done things in the secret society groups and this is a perversion of the old natural principle. It's a perversion of the alchemical path and when they have everybody doing this one size fits all initiation

[00:05:28] right, well that gives them a profound amount of control over those members who have gone through the rites because you see in addition to doing the rituals and the rites they, in the course of these rituals and rites of initiation, they swear blood oaths and

[00:05:46] allegiance to the fraternity and these blood oaths that they take have severe consequences if they are violated and they swear to not reveal the secrets of the order to any of whom they call the profane and that's anybody who doesn't belong

[00:06:08] to the secret society group. So this is wherein they've hijacked this whole natural principle and inverted it and turned it into something wholly synthetic. Now Swedenborg may not have gone through this type of initiation rite because there is not

[00:06:26] much evidence to support that he was a member of one of these occult fraternities but very much many of the things that he wrote about and talked about align with the belief systems thereof and they have since adopted many of Swedenborg's points of view. Now is that because

[00:06:45] Swedenborg was correct about some things or was it because Swedenborg's observations aligned with what it is that they taught in their secret doctrine? Hard to say for sure, maybe it's a combination of the two things or maybe just maybe they saw Swedenborg showed some true things

[00:07:07] and they took hold of those true things and twisted them to suit their own agendas and have misconstrued the writings of Swedenborg. Now I don't know, I don't have the answer to this

[00:07:21] but we're just going to go ahead and give you a little bit of the background of this Immanuel Swedenborg guy because it's important to understand who it is we're talking about here because he has had such prominence in the schools of thought of

[00:07:36] philosophy and the secret society groups. He's had a huge amount of influence, he's one of these individuals whose works have resonated through the course of time especially in what we would call the modern edit of occultism today and these are the things that have been carried forward into

[00:07:53] the 20th and 21st centuries now by those who claim to practice these occult sciences, the mystery school teachings, the ones that claim to be the keepers of the secret doctrine. They've adopted some of his ideas and as we'll see as we get into his writings here

[00:08:12] many of his ideas don't align with mainstream philosophy or mainstream theology and that's an important point to make here. Now like I said I cannot attest to the correctness of Swedenborg

[00:08:28] but we need to understand that he has had an awful lot of influence on some other people in this world, other people who have instantiated themselves into positions of power in this world and these people believe some of the things that Swedenborg wrote about

[00:08:47] and the things that these people do to act upon their beliefs and these things will affect all of us so it's important that we understand it so regardless of whether you believe in any

[00:08:57] of these things that Swedenborg talks about or not is irrelevant. What you need to understand and I always put this caveat in there is that there are people in positions of power in this world

[00:09:07] that very much believe in these things and the things they do to act upon those beliefs will affect all of us. That's why it's important that we look at this stuff so even if you think

[00:09:16] it's all hokum and nonsense hear it out. There's important information packed in this stuff because whether or not you give any credence to it there are those who use this stuff as a

[00:09:31] roadmap, as a blueprint, as an action plan to do things in this world and it's important that we understand first of all their motivations and second of all their operational principles

[00:09:43] that they use to get things done and I do see a lot of value in many of these writings but let's begin by talking about who this guy was and this is directly from Encyclopedia Britannica

[00:10:02] for those who are interested in sources. Emmanuel Swedenborg born January 29th 1688 in Stockholm Sweden died March 29th 1772 in London England he was a Swedish scientist a Christian mystic philosopher and theologian who wrote voluminously in interpreting the scriptures as the immediate word

[00:10:28] of God soon after his death devoted followers created Swedenborgian societies dedicated to the study of his thought I'm going to pause for a moment and this is where in things become convoluted quickly. I think maybe the guy did have some good real revelations of things

[00:10:46] and he wrote these down but you see what usually happens with somebody like this who seems to have had some type of an experience that sits outside the bounds of the secret society schools and the secret society groups they will often grab hold of this guy's ideas

[00:11:09] this happens not just with Swedenborg but with others as well they grab hold of the ideas and they put their twist and apply their agenda to it and they form other new secret groups

[00:11:19] and that's what happened here with Swedenborg so many people took the things he talked about and probably twisted and misinterpreted them and turned them into the inversion of perhaps what they were intended to be now I don't know how correct that statement is we'll see as we

[00:11:37] continue here but you'll see Swedenborg had a lot of different ideas that don't align with mainstream philosophy or mainstream theological concerns but let's continue here in laying out who Swedenborg was because this guy was important and is important to the secret

[00:11:57] schools today soon after his death devoted followers created the Swedenborgian societies dedicated to the study of his thought these societies formed the nucleus of the church of the new Jerusalem also called the new church also called the Swedenborgians Swedenborg was born

[00:12:18] in Stockholm his father was Jesper swedberg and he was a prominent member of the Swedish clergy he was a court chaplain and a professor of theology in the University of Uppsala and later the Bishop of Skara when the family was ennobled in 1719 it took the name Swedenborg

[00:12:35] after graduating from the University of Uppsala in 1709 the young Swedenborg spent five years abroad he became fascinated by mathematics and the natural sciences and to study them he visited England Holland France and Germany meeting some of the representatives of the new sciences there

[00:12:53] in learning practical mechanical skills Swedenborg's inventive and mechanical genius flowered at this time and his speculations ranged from a method of finding terrestrial longitude by the moon to new methods of constructing docks and even to tentative suggestions for the submarine in

[00:13:10] the airplane gonna pause for a moment there folks remember this was in the 1700s so this guy had a very analytical mind very smart came from a pretty wealthy noble family for the most part

[00:13:27] high society type as many of these individuals often are so they had the associations they had the influence in the circles of power let's read on he returned to Sweden in 1715 and soon began to publish that country's first scientific journal called Daedalus hyperboreus in which he

[00:13:50] wrote numerous reports of his projects and discoveries and of the inventions of Sweden's foremost mechanical talent of the time Christopher Polhem king Charles the 12th made the young scientist an assistant to polhem by appointing him a cesser extra ordinium or extraordinary

[00:14:07] at the royal board of mines in this office and later as a cesser he devoted himself for 30 years to the development and improvement of Sweden's metal mining industries at this time he devoted several years to publishing reports and treatises on various scientific and philosophical

[00:14:25] problems for example cosmology poor cusky poor corpuscular philosophy mathematics and human sensory perceptions now and then he also found time to write poems in latin some of which were published in 1718 he published the first work on algebra in the swedish language and in 1721

[00:14:46] he published a work on chemistry and physics so i'm gonna pause for a moment there so this guy was a true polymath at the time he understood a lot of the sciences he was interested in this

[00:15:00] he spoke multiple languages and he had some experiences that changed his life he had some thinking on natural philosophy he had put together different aspects of cosmology and thought in different ways but much of his important work came later in his life after he

[00:15:28] had what's called a religious crisis according to this so he had done some work analyzing and trying to put together some facts about the anatomy of man and this is when he came across his religious

[00:15:49] crisis you see he was very much quote unquote science minded at the time so he was using these analytic scientific method observational tools to determine things and to learn things but this led him to a point where there were certain things he couldn't explain and he had what

[00:16:09] is recorded here as a religious crisis and it was after this point that much of his prolific works that are celebrated in the secret schools today came about so let's read a little about that

[00:16:19] before we get into the book itself so swedenburg's religious crisis those years of anatomical research were concluded by a painful religious crisis from which there survives a unique document it is usually called the journal of dreams and it was written sometime between 1743 and 1744

[00:16:40] and was obviously meant to be a journal of his new travels beginning in july of 1743 but rather trivial notices were suddenly interrupted there follows instead a list of various dreams recalled from earlier years and a detailed report on his spiritual experiences mostly at night

[00:16:59] from march to october of 1744 some of the dreams were of a grossly sexual character and caused many pious readers quite a shock when the journal was published in 1859 but the feelings of guilt swedenborg eventually experienced at this time were not concentrated

[00:17:16] on his sexual impulses but rather on his intellectual pride his burning ambition to be recognized as a great man of science on april 7th 1744 he had his first vision of christ which gave him

[00:17:33] a temporary rest from the temptations of his own pride and the evil spirits he believed to be around him a definite call to abandon worldly learning occurred in april of 1745 swedenborg told his friends in his later years the call apparently came in the form of a waking vision

[00:17:50] of the lord swedenborg thereafter left his remaining works in the natural sciences unfinished for the remainder of his long career swedenborg devoted his enormous energy to interpreting the bible and to relating what he had seen and heard in the world of spirits and angels from 1749 to 1771

[00:18:11] he wrote some 30 volumes all of them in latin and the major part anonymously and it lists some of these works but we're not going to get into that here we're going to be reading from one

[00:18:26] of these works and we're going to see some of these ideas he had so get this the guy was very science minded very intelligent had a crisis of faith had some strange dreams

[00:18:40] and had a vision of christ and then he turned his attention away from the material sciences and started to concentrate on the more spiritual aspects of things and especially interpreting the bible and he came up with his own views on biblical scripture and that's largely

[00:19:02] what we're going to be talking about here tonight you see he developed his own hermeneutical lens on scripture we've talked about the importance of hermeneutics here before and what this is is it's the application of a specific interpretation to various verses of the bible and you could

[00:19:21] apply this to other writings as well and many in the secret schools do that it's a study called hermeneutics and this is specifically when applied to theological concerns you can apply it to scripture and you can garner different meanings from that scripture depending upon what hermeneutical lens

[00:19:39] you apply to it now swedenborg invented his own type of lens of observation of the scriptures using his intellect his scientific mind and espousing some of his visions that he claims to have had in the spiritual

[00:19:59] to apply meanings to this so we have here what has been written so his theological works that he wrote constituted what he calls a revelation from god for a new age of truth and reason in

[00:20:15] religion furthermore he held that this new revelation of god was what was meant by the second coming because of his other worldly experiences swedenborg has often been regarded either as a spiritualist

[00:20:30] medium or as a mystic but in his dry matter of fact accounts of the spiritual world and in his acutely reasoned theology he actually retains his lifelong attitude of the scientific and philosophic investigator so this guy made some certain claims he made some observations

[00:20:50] claimed to have had some experiences and he came up with this new idea at the time that this revelation that he had this visitation this vision from god that he had constituted a new revelation and is what is referred to commonly in the bible as the second

[00:21:13] coming now he applied this lens of observation to this and this is where in now we get into the work that we're going to be reading from here today we're going to be reading from the final judgment and the destruction of babelon all the predictions of the apocalypse

[00:21:31] now fulfilled from things heard and seen by immanuel swedenborg like i said first published in 1758 this is an english translation from 1913 originally written in latin this guy wrote these things in latin he was a smart cookie let's put it that way so we're going to begin in earnest

[00:21:56] here from this book it's called the final judgment and the destruction of babelon and you'll see how swedenborg's ideas his hermeneutical thoughts on this are applied and he gives his own interpretation of the scriptures now remember this guy

[00:22:20] after the fact influenced a lot of these occult fraternities and secret society groups the secret schools so understanding that let's get into the reading here the destruction of the world is not meant by the day of the final judgment they who have not been acquainted with the

[00:22:42] spiritual sense of the word and the word word has a capital w folks have had no other understanding than that in the day of the final judgment all things in the visible world will be destroyed

[00:22:55] for it is said that heaven and earth will then perish and that god will create a new heaven and a new earth in this opinion they have also confirmed themselves by its being said

[00:23:07] that all that are in their tombs will then come forth and that the good will then be separated from the evil with more to the same purport but it is thus said in the sense of the letter of the word

[00:23:21] because the sense of the letter of the word is natural and in the ultimate of divine order where in all things and everything contain a spiritual sense for which reason he who comprehends the word only according to the sense of the letter may be led into various

[00:23:39] opinions as indeed has been the case in the christian world where so many heresies have thus arisen and are each confirmed from the word but since no one has a hitherto known

[00:23:54] excuse me since no one has hitherto known that there is a spiritual sense in the whole of the word and in every particular of it nor even what a spiritual sense is therefore they are not

[00:24:09] to be blamed who have adopted this opinion concerning the final judgment yet let them now know that neither the visible heaven nor the habitable earth will perish but both will endure and that by a new

[00:24:23] heaven and a new earth is meant a new church both in the heavens and on the earth it is said a new church in the heavens since the church is in the heavens as well as on the earth

[00:24:36] for the word is also there and also preachings and divine worship like as on the earth but with the difference that all things there are in a more perfect state because they are not there in a natural

[00:24:49] world but in a spiritual and therefore all who dwell there are spiritual men and not natural as they were in the world that this is so may be seen in the work on heaven and hell and particularly in the chapter on the conjunction of heaven with man

[00:25:08] by the word and in that on divine worship in heaven gonna pause for a moment here folks so Swedenborg was of the opinion that this final judgment what's meant by it is not

[00:25:25] the destruction of the earth we are informed by the bible that heaven and earth shall pass away and there will be a new heaven and a new earth so this contradicts theological interpretation

[00:25:38] because he says the earth will endure and the heavens will endure heaven will endure it will not pass away it will continue on that's what he claims here so it contradicts directly

[00:25:52] what the theological sense of the word is but let's continue and see what he says here in the next verse that he gives here the passages in the word which speak of the destruction of heaven

[00:26:05] and earth are the following lift up your eyes to the heavens and look upon the earth beneath for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke and the earth shall wax old like a garment

[00:26:16] and that's from Isaiah chapter 6 then he also says behold I create new heavens and a new heavens and a new earth and the former things shall not be remembered also isaia chapter 17

[00:26:30] the new heavens and the new earth will I make excuse me the new heavens and the new earth which I will make the stars of heaven fell unto the earth and heaven departed as a scroll when

[00:26:46] it is rolled together and that's from the book of revelation I saw a great white throne and him that sat upon it from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away and there was found no place

[00:26:59] for them once again also from the book of revelation I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away also from the book of revelation so now Swedenborg is going to apply his hermeneutical interpretation of these verses

[00:27:17] and it contradicts mainline theological reasoning and thinking because you see we're told in plain language that the heaven the heavens and the earth will pass away but god's word will not

[00:27:31] pass away and there will be a new heaven and a new earth but Swedenborg takes umbrage with that let's see what his interpretation is he says in these passages by a new heaven is not meant a heaven

[00:27:45] to be seen by our eyes but the very heaven where the human race is gathered for a heaven has been gathered from the whole human race from the very beginning of the christian church yet they who

[00:27:57] were in it were not angels but spirits of various religion gonna pause for a moment there folks now you can see where this is contradictory to mainline theology do we understand that

[00:28:12] now like I said this is one lens of interpretation being applied here to scripture and I don't necessarily think that much of what he's asserting here is correct but he does offer but he does offer some valid reasoning for his position on these things at certain points

[00:28:37] and he does offer this alternate view of things and it's important that we understand that because even if we take umbrage with that if we think he's incorrect about it remember this guy has heavily influenced modern occultism with these ways of thinking so it's important that we

[00:28:56] understand this because there are people who very much believe in these things and apply them in certain ways to socially engineer our society this heaven is meant by the first heaven which

[00:29:08] was to perish but how these things are shall be specially told in what follows here only this much is told that it may be known what is meant by the first heaven which was to perish

[00:29:21] everyone too who thinks from reason and all enlightened may perceive that it is not the starry heaven the so immense firmament of creation that is meant but heaven in a spiritual sense where angels and spirits are gonna pause for a moment after that and I don't think he's

[00:29:39] necessarily incorrect about that I think this is referred to in the bible in that sense the heavens or heaven referred to in the book of revelation is speaking of these spiritual realms

[00:29:52] not so much the sky the firmament as we see here in the physical you see this is where in Swedenborg made the distinction between the material world and the spiritual realms and made some distinctions between those two things

[00:30:10] and was applying his observations to that and I don't think he was necessarily incorrect in this assessment it's talking about the spiritual realms as well as the physical material realm here I think that can be inferred from the biblical context itself

[00:30:27] so let's read on and see what he says here in his next portion of this so he says that by a new earth is meant a new church on earth has not hitherto been known

[00:30:39] because everyone by earth in the word has understood the earth when yet by it is meant the church so I'm gonna pause there so now using his own reasoning here Swedenborg says that when the bible was referring to the earth

[00:30:59] that there will be the passing away of the earth and a new earth will be born he's inferring here he's saying what it means when it says earth is it means the church now when you understand that

[00:31:15] things gets a little bit more clear as to his interpretation of things so he's saying in the book of revelation when it's referring to the earth it's referring to the earth it's referring to the church and not the earth itself now is he correct in this context

[00:31:33] I don't know because I've seen other portions wherein when it's referring to the earth it's actually talking about the earth it's talking about physical manifestation the material world here in which we live so he's applying certain context of meaning to it in these passages

[00:31:51] that isn't applied in other passages and this is where in a lot of times theologians and philosophers and those who study all of these religious contexts of things they get different opinions and there's confusion and convolution of what is actually there inherent in the bible and this

[00:32:11] is where in this study in hermeneutics comes in because if you apply the interpretation just strictly the one interpretation to it it could have total different meanings than others now he made his own lens of observation here his own hermeneutical study of these things and this

[00:32:26] is what he applied so he's applying to it when you see the term earth this is referring to the church so now that we've made that abundantly clear let's continue on so he says whenever you

[00:32:39] see the word earth what is meant by it is the church in the natural sense the earth is the earth but in the spiritual sense it is the church for the reason that they who are in the spiritual

[00:32:51] sense that is who are spiritual as are the angels when earth or land is mentioned in the word do not understand the earth or land itself but the nation therein and its divine worship hence

[00:33:06] it is that by earth or land is signified the church as may be seen in the heavenly arcana in the reference below and he has reference to this work the heavenly arcana wherein he makes

[00:33:23] that argument so he has applied this now in the sense that in the spiritual realm of things in the spiritual interpretation of this earth or land when it's conveyed in the scripture means the

[00:33:37] church like i said this does not align with mainstream theology it is one hermeneutical lens of observation that he's applied here and it's important that we look at this so let's see what else he says

[00:33:51] he says i would i would hear a deuce one or two passages from the word from which it may in some measure be comprehended that by earth or land is signified the church and then he goes on to

[00:34:05] quote some scripture here the flood gates are high or sorry excuse me let me start that again the flood gates on high are opened and the foundations of the earth do shake breaking the earth is

[00:34:18] broken moving the earth is moved reeling the earth shall like a drunken man it moves to and fro like a hut and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it and that's from isaia 24 versus

[00:34:32] 18 through 20 i will make a man more rare than fine gold therefore i will make the heaven to move and the earth shall be shaken out of her place in the day of the heat of the anger of jahovah

[00:34:47] isaia chapter 13 verses 12 and 13 the earthquake before him the heavens trembled the sun and the moon were darkened and the stars withdrew their shining and that's joel 2 10 the earth was shaken and was moved the foundations also of the mountains trembled and were shaken som 18 verse 7

[00:35:08] as also in very many other places so gonna pause there before we get to the next portion so he's claiming that these verses when you apply this lens of observation and you realize when it's

[00:35:19] talking about the earth or the land being violently shaken or some such thing if you're looking at this with the spiritual interpretation it's talking about the church and not the actual physical earth as we see here so that's an important distinction so this is what he was applying

[00:35:40] across the board as to his interpretation of things let's read on swedenberg continues he says moreover by creating in the spiritual sense of the word is signified forming establishing and regenerating so that by creating a new heaven and a new earth is signified establishing a new

[00:36:03] church in heaven and on earth as may be evident from the following passages and he continues here gives a couple more passages from the bible a people which shall be created shall praise Yahweh that Psalms 102 verse 18 thou sendest for the thy spirit they are created and thou

[00:36:25] renewest the face of the ground and that's also from Psalms thus said Jehovah thy creator oh Jacob and thy former oh Israel for I have redeemed thee I have called thee by thy name

[00:36:37] thou art mine every one that is called by my name and for my glory I have created him I have formed him yay I have made him and that's from Isaiah and then he says and elsewhere so he says hence

[00:36:51] it is that the new creation of man in his reformation since he has made new that is from natural he has made spiritual thus a new creature is a reformed man and I'm going to

[00:37:05] pause there before we continue so now he is applying some logic to this he's talking about the redemption of man man in the physical material world sense when we are born here we are a natural creature we belong to this material realm now through our redemption

[00:37:29] we become spiritual beings now this this contradicts some of mainline theology and it contradicts some of what is observable in the realm of things and it reifies the belief systems

[00:37:47] of those of the secret schools how so you may ask well what this suggests is that we are born here just a physical material being on par with an animal and it's only through the awakening of

[00:38:04] our spiritual selves through this redemptive process that we develop a soul so what is suggested here or inferred and what is brought forward by the occultists and secret societies is that

[00:38:20] natural man doesn't really have a soul he's no different than an animal you see I've told you in the past many in these secret society groups believe that if you were not initiated into one

[00:38:34] of their orders you don't even have a soul that's what's suggested here you're a natural man you're just a physical automaton in NPC you see where all of these ideas come into play they're all derived from the old secret teachings from the secret doctrine

[00:38:57] they're all derived from things like this that reify that notion that you are born just this physical being and it's a misconstruing a misconception a misapplication of the whole notion in the bible that you must be born again

[00:39:15] to get into the kingdom of heaven you see it is a spiritual process that we go through but they've misapplied this and misinterpreted it as you have no soul until you get initiated until you have this spiritual enlightenment applied to you you see how they invert

[00:39:37] and pervert these things they take something that's true yes we've been told you need to be born again you need to be born into the spirit to be able to have that right relationship with god that

[00:39:51] reunification with god and to inherit the kingdom of heaven to get into the kingdom of heaven we need to be born again spiritually now this misapplied in this way tends to lead people to think in terms within the secret society groups of how we said here formerly

[00:40:14] whereas a human being who has not been initiated into one of their orders has no soul therefore they treat him as little more than an animal he has a spirit much akin to an animal

[00:40:26] a natural spirit but has no actual soul and therefore doesn't count in their view do you see how perverted and misconstrued many of these things have become and swedenborg's observations here in his hermeneutical lens that he applied to scripture reifies this belief and that is one

[00:41:06] belief systems you see it's another way in which the devil twists and contorts the scripture to those who don't read it in context and understand it the enemy knows the scriptures probably better than most humans do folks the enemy knows how to twist and pervert these things

[00:41:30] and apply them in ways to make people believe absurdities and if you can make people believe absurdities you can make them commit atrocities voltair warned us of that and certainly this is

[00:41:43] the case this is the foundation on which all of our modern sciences of eugenics are built on this is what transhumanism is built on this belief that human beings in their natural state

[00:41:55] are little more than animals therefore they have no soul spiritual concerns are not applied if you can separate man from spiritual concerns and keep him in this animal state then you can be the gods

[00:42:08] of this place you can manipulate them however you see fit and it doesn't matter there's no karmic retribution because they don't have a soul in the view of these people how perverted and misconstrued are these ideas but certainly they're ever present in the secret schools

[00:42:31] and many who work within these secret schools who have some occult foundation think they are actually doing humanity a favor by introducing traumatic ritualism into the mainstream it's an initiation process folks things like mass casualty events it's a traumatic initiation

[00:42:56] to try to awaken the soul within man they think they're doing you a favor by forcing at their hand and trying to make you have this traumatic experience to awaken the soul within you to

[00:43:08] awaken the spiritual concerns within you and they truly believe this and they think they're doing good works by doing this and a lot of it comes from this misinterpretation or misapplication of these ideas as put forward here so swedenborg says that hence the new creation of man in

[00:43:30] his reformation since he is made new that is from natural he is made spiritual thus a new creature is a reformed man so he's convoluted this teaching of being born again from the mainstream theological sense of it let's continue he says next concerning the spiritual sense of

[00:43:50] the word we see the small work on the white horse mentioned in the apocalypse the white horse in the apocalypse folks he's pointing out the white horse now the next portion here we'll see if he ties together this white horse of the apocalypse with his next thought here

[00:44:22] his next thought talks about the procreations of the human race on the earth will never cease they who have adopted the belief concerning the final judgment that all things in the heavens

[00:44:34] and on the earth will then perish and that in their place a new heaven and a new earth will come into existence believe because it follows as a consequence that the generations and procreations of the human race will thence forth cease for they think that all things

[00:44:49] will then have been accomplished and that men will be in a different state from before but since the destruction of the world is not meant by the day of final judgment as has been shown in the

[00:45:02] preceding chapter it also follows that the human race will endure and that procreation will not cease so i'm gonna pause for a moment here folks so once again a direct contradiction to mainstream

[00:45:16] accepted theological concepts for as it was in the days of noah shall it be in these times as we were informed by the lord himself in the book of matthew chapter 24 his sermon on the mount

[00:45:31] as it was in the days of noah men will continue doing the things they're doing they'll continue marrying and being given in marriage and partying celebrating going about their lives like normal when the flood comes that's what's being said here he's claiming all of these

[00:45:49] things will continue on everything will continue as it always has it's a direct contradiction to what the bible tells us you see how many of these things can be misinterpreted or misapplied

[00:46:07] and what do we know we've been told we've been advised in the bible about the discernment of the spirit of a thing and we can apply that tool to our understanding here does it glorify god or

[00:46:23] does it glorify man well certainly this teaching does not glorify god does it saying all things will continue as they always have we've been told in the bible also that in the last days there

[00:46:38] will be scoffers they'll be saying things like they've been saying this the end is coming for generations and generations and thousands of years and yet still we continue on and on and they'll be taken off guard you see there's many people that firmly believe this that

[00:46:53] everything's just going to continue just as it always has despite what we've been told and despite the signs that we see around us of these coming things you see how these people in the guise of being quote unquote spiritual they take you away from the spiritual and further

[00:47:12] entrench your mind into the hyper materialist paradigm they tell you everything will continue here as it always has you won't even notice a thing it'll never happen that's what they're inferring here so it says the human race will endure and that procreations will not

[00:47:33] cease things will keep going on as they always have much like it was in the days of Noah everybody scoffed laughed at Noah told him he was a fool there was nothing to worry about

[00:47:45] things will continue on and on they were all wiped out certainly there's usually a remnant with these things that remains but we're talking about something completely transformational something here but he's saying that everything will continue as it always has

[00:48:07] let's read on and see what else he says sweetenborg continues he says that the procreations of the human race will continue to eternity may be evident from many considerations some of which have been presented in the work on heaven and hell i'm going to pause for a second

[00:48:25] which is another book he wrote prior to this one so he's basing a lot of these things on his own ideas he's not really necessarily quoting or putting ideas from some other source here

[00:48:39] he's citing himself as the source of a lot of this so you have to wonder so let's go ahead we'll continue from there so he said he presented in this work on heaven and

[00:48:49] hell and especially from the following first the human race is the basis on which heaven is founded second the human race is the seminary of heaven third the extent of heaven which is for

[00:49:03] angels is so immense that it cannot be filled to eternity fourth they are comparatively few of whom heaven as yet is formed five the perfection of heaven increases in proportion to its numbers and six every divine work looks to what is infinite and eternal

[00:49:25] so now sweetenborg has given us this breakdown of how he sees what is heaven and hell he says heaven is based on the human race it's the foundation of it the human race is the

[00:49:39] seminary of heaven he says that heaven is so immense it cannot be filled to eternity and that there are comparatively few of whom heaven as yet is formed and that the perfection of heaven increases in proportion to its numbers so the more who attain this enlightened state

[00:49:58] you see how this all ties together with the philosophies of the secret schools the more who come to this enlightenment who spiritually evolve to the next level the more the bigger heaven is in proportion to its numbers and the more perfect that it is

[00:50:18] and that every divine work looks to what is infinite and eternal doesn't focus on things in the material here now that's partially correct in my view it is about the infinite and eternal at the end of the day when things apply in the spirit

[00:50:35] but certainly there are physical things in this world too that are the product of some spiritual or divine work and we can see that so i think he's partially correct but let's continue on

[00:50:51] in this next portion he says that the human race is the basis on which heaven is founded is because man was created last and that which was created last is the basis of all that precedes

[00:51:07] creation commenced from the highest or inmost because from the divine and proceeded to the lowest or outmost and then first subsisted the lowest of creation is the natural world including the to rake we as globe with all things on it when these were finished the man was created

[00:51:31] and into him were gathered all things of divine order from firsts to lasts into his inmost were gathered those things which are in the firsts of that order and into his lasts those which

[00:51:43] are in the lasts so that man was made divine order in form from this it is that all things in man and with man are both from heaven and from the world those which are of his mind from heaven and those

[00:52:00] which are of his body from the world for the things of heaven flow into his thoughts and affections and determine them according as they are received by his spirit and the things of

[00:52:10] the world flow into his sensations and pleasures and determine them according as they are received by his body but according to their agreement with the thoughts and affections of his spirit that this

[00:52:26] is so may be seen in several chapters in the work on heaven and hell under these heads that the entire heaven as a whole represents one man and likewise each society in the heavens

[00:52:37] that hence each angel is in perfect human form and this from the divine human of the lord and moreover in the chapter on the correspondence of all things in heaven with all things of man

[00:52:50] on the correspondence of heaven with all things of the earth and on the form of heaven from this order of creation it may be evident that such is the containing connection from firsts to lasts that when viewed together they constitute one in which the prior cannot be

[00:53:07] separated from the posterior just as a cause cannot be separated from its effect gonna pause for a moment here folks so essentially all this word salad that mr. swedenborg just gave us all

[00:53:21] encapsulate in one little term that you're all familiar with by now the old hermetic axiom as above so below as within so without all things are one we're all one we're all fractal pieces of one

[00:53:38] the spirit of god according to the secret schools the creation is god god is the creation we are a portion of the creation and therefore we are god you see how it reifies these ideas

[00:53:54] the things he's saying here now i don't know if that is how he intended these things but certainly this is how they come across to the secret schools this is the interpretation they apply to them

[00:54:06] it reifies their already convoluted ideas as to the nature of reality now we do have this divine spark this gift from god but make no mistake about it folks god the creator is not the creation

[00:54:24] you see how they always seem to conflate these two things because it's hard for man to conceptualize to think outside the bounds of what it is that we know that we experience that we live in we live

[00:54:37] within this system and we live within this world we live within this realm and we can't conceptualize things outside of or around or interlaced throughout this realm so we can't conceptualize god we can't conceptualize the creator apart from the creation and this is problematic now i would

[00:55:00] certainly agree that god the creator does reach in and sometimes manifest through his creation but that does not mean that the creation is god or the creator the creator is not the creation folks and this is what is based in most of these old philosophies the secret schools

[00:55:21] this is what they teach this is the secret doctrine that the creation is the creator that the natural world is all that there is and that this whole premise undergirds everything and we

[00:55:36] do see some truths to some of these concepts of as above so below we do see some truths in it but this is the convoluting in the misinterpretation of that so let's go ahead and we'll continue

[00:55:49] reading so he had said that essentially as above so below and that the cause and effect cannot be separated from each other so he says thus the spiritual world cannot be separated from the natural nor the natural world from the spiritual consequently not the angelic heaven from the

[00:56:11] human race nor the human race from the angelic heaven and accordingly it has been provided by the lord that they shall render mutual service to each other that is the angelic heaven to the

[00:56:23] human race and the human race to the angelic heaven hence it is that the angelic abodes are indeed in heaven and to appearance separate from the abodes of men and yet they are with man in

[00:56:36] his affections for good and truth it is only from appearance that to sight they present themselves as separate as may be evident from the chapter of the work on heaven and hell concerning space in heaven that the abodes of angels are with men in their affections for good

[00:56:53] and truth is meant by these words of the lord he that loveth me keepeth my word and my father will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode with him and that's John chapter 14 verse 23

[00:57:06] by the father and the lord is here also meant heaven for where the lord is there is heaven since the divine proceeding from the lord makes heaven as may be seen in the work on heaven and

[00:57:17] hell gonna pause for a moment here so sweet and bord likes to use himself as a source quite a bit here he's quoting from his work that he calls heaven and hell and he's making the argument

[00:57:31] here essentially that the divine proceeding from the lord makes heaven so it's actually god is heaven and since heaven and earth are inseparable the natural and the spiritual are inseparable they're one in the same therefore the creation is the creator do you understand how this has

[00:57:50] been misapplied and convoluted and twisted this is why in my view the secret schools have adopted Swedenborg's ideology because it aligns very heavily with the way they think and this this is a misconception that cannot be overlooked in my view once again it always

[00:58:15] comes back to man's lack of understanding of things outside of our experiences things that exist outside this realm of creation that we are in and therefore since we have a hard time conceptualizing

[00:58:35] it we can't understand the mind of god or of the creator therefore we only apply what we can know about these things and of course that thing that we do know is the creation therefore man falsely convoluted the creation with the creator creator the creation is not

[00:58:56] the creator folks i can't emphasize that enough but that is the foundation upon which all of these secret teachings from their secret doctrine permeate through our culture and our ways of thinking you see if you accept that the creation is the creator and we're a fractal

[00:59:14] portion of the creation that means we in essence are god and this is not a spirit from god backing that ideology this is the great lie in the garden of eden we cannot be god we are not god

[00:59:29] but they would certainly have you believe this and that's where things become problematic and our modern sciences are built upon this idea that the creation is the creator and if the creation

[00:59:44] is the creator since we are a fractal part of the creation therefore we are the creator and we can ascend to the next level in our evolution our self-guided evolution and become gods

[00:59:57] and have control over this place and this this is a perversion of what is known about the natural sciences the old alchemical occult sciences this is about the inversion principle being applied and you can understand some things if you understand that simple context these people

[01:00:22] have accepted as fact that the creation is the creator and they are misguided in that belief and if that's the foundation well that means anything goes do you see how this leads into

[01:00:39] that way of thinking if the creation is the creator and we are a portion of that creation we are the creator and therefore we make our own rules moral relativism sets in there's no absolute standard of right or wrong natural laws no longer apply if we can

[01:01:01] manipulate these things because we are god and that's how they think that's how the minds of many of these people have been convoluted and perverted through the course of time with these occult teachings they've lost sight of the fact that we cannot correctly know

[01:01:25] or completely know the mind of god because he operates the creator operates outside of the bounds of what we can possibly comprehend and they're just looking at their own limited human

[01:01:39] comprehension of things and applying these notions that we know to that now this is where in we have this separation and ideologies but let's continue on and see what else swedenborg says here he continues

[01:01:56] and he says excuse me and likewise by these words of the lord the comforter the spirit of truth with you and is in you and that's from john 14 17 he says the comforter is divine truth proceeding

[01:02:12] from the lord for which reason he is also called the spirit of truth and divine truth makes heaven and also angels because they are recipients of it that the divine proceeding from the lord is

[01:02:26] divine truth and that from it it is the angelic heaven may be seen in the work on heaven and hell once again he quotes himself here the like is also meant by these words of the lord

[01:02:37] the kingdom of god is within you and that's from luke chapter 17 verse 21 the kingdom of god is divine good and truth in which the angels are gonna pause for a moment here so now

[01:02:51] he takes some true notions and ideas and convolutes them here in his ways of thinking and the divine proceeds from the lord and divine truth proceeds from the lord and the realm that we would know as heaven where in the angelic beings exist perhaps

[01:03:09] this is wherein the kingdom of god derives from you see how he's taken these things he says god is divine good and truth and that's true but now he's misapplied that in some of his ways of thinking

[01:03:32] let's continue and see what else he says here next he says that angels and spirits are with man and in his affections has been given me to see a thousand times from their presence and abode

[01:03:45] with me but angels and spirits do not know with what men they are just as men do not know with what angels and spirits they are in company for the lord alone knows and arranges this in a word

[01:03:58] there is an extension into heaven of all affections for good and truth and communication and conjunction with those who are in like affections there and there is an extension into hell of all affections for evil and falsity and communication and conjunction with those who are in like affections

[01:04:16] there the extension of affections into the spiritual world is almost like the site is almost like that of sight into the natural world communications in both worlds are nearly alike yet with the difference that in the natural world there are objects but in the spiritual world

[01:04:36] angelic societies from these things it is plain that there is such a connection of the angelic heaven in the human race that the one subsists from the other and that the angelic heaven

[01:04:48] without the human race is as a house without a foundation for heaven terminates in the human race and rests upon it the case with the whole is as with an individual man in particular

[01:05:00] his spiritual things which are of his thought and will flow into his natural things which are of his sensations and actions and there terminate and subsist if man had not the enjoyment of these

[01:05:14] that is were without these terminations or outmosts his spiritual things that are of the thoughts and affections of his spirit would dissolve away like things unconfined or without a foundation in like manner when man passes from the natural world into the spiritual which takes place when

[01:05:34] he dies then because he is a spirit he does not subsist on his own basis but upon the common basis which is the human race he who does not know the arcana of heaven may believe that angels

[01:05:49] subsist without men and men without angels but i can affirm from all my experience of heaven and from all my conversation with angels that no angel or spirit subsists without man and no man without spirits and angels and that there is a mutual and reciprocal conjunction

[01:06:08] from this it may now first be evident that the human race and the angelic heaven make one and mutually and reciprocally subsist from each other and thus that one cannot be taken away

[01:06:21] from the other so i'm going to pause for a moment here so once again this harkens upon the notion of the secret schools that the spiritual realms are a mirror reflection of the physical realms and that they do coexist together and i think there are some truths to

[01:06:38] this notion we do have these spiritual realms all around us that interpenetrate in this physical realm that we cannot sense with our limited physical senses here but these things certainly are present now he makes the claim that the angels cannot exist without man and

[01:06:58] man cannot exist without the angels that the spiritual and the physical cannot exist separately from one another and maybe there is some truth to that but the way in which he frames it is a

[01:07:10] convoluted way of thinking so certainly these things do exist separate from one another the spirit functions separately from the physical in some regards and they do have overlap in certain places as above so below once again the hermetic axiom applies and like i've said in the past

[01:07:33] there are some truths to many of these things they talk about that's the important part here but often they misinterpret many of these things to fit an agenda and that's what's been done by the

[01:07:48] secret schools here they've taken many of swedenborg's ideas and applied them to their already preconceived notions of the reality that they want to make let's read on and then we're gonna wrap up very

[01:08:00] soon here that the human race is the seminary of heaven will be evident from the following chapter in which it is to be shown that heaven and hell are from the human race and thus that

[01:08:12] the human race is the seminary of heaven of heaven excuse me but in advance it must be stated that just as hitherto from the first creation heaven has been formed from the human race so it is

[01:08:24] to be formed and filled hereafter it is indeed possible that the human race on one earth may perish which happens when it entirely separates itself from the divine for then man no longer has

[01:08:38] spiritual life but only natural like that of beasts and when man is such no society can be formed and kept in restraint by laws since without the influx of heaven and thus without the divine government men would become insane and rush unchecked into all wickedness one against another

[01:08:58] gonna pause for a moment right after that what do we see happening in society today folks and this is a direct result of the perversions of these secret schools he's acknowledging it here you see

[01:09:10] we have this separation of the spiritual from the physical going on they've taken these ideas and misapplied them to bring about this state of being to bring about the destruction of humanity in this regard by separating man from the spirit of God separating man from the

[01:09:30] spiritual we have this influx of wickedness one against another unchecked you see and that is certainly what these dark occultists who run this agenda want because they want to be the gods

[01:09:49] of this place and they think they can do it they think it's their divine right to be so they're trying to take the throne of God it's the same old archetype as the tower of babel story

[01:10:02] nimrod ascended to the top of the tower intent on slaying God and taking his place that's exactly what they're doing and we see how that ended because it's simply not possible but that's

[01:10:13] what these dark occultists have in mind they want to be God they think they can slay God and take his place and how do they do that by separating man from the divine by separating

[01:10:25] the material from the spiritual and ruling just in this material realm that's what they're seeking to do that's the goal they're working towards and that's how they've taken many of these biblical scriptures and they've taken some of these old philosophical and occult ideas and

[01:10:45] misapplied them to achieve that agenda and they've taught many of their disciples within their secret schools these same premises they think it's very possible that they can be as gods and that they're doing mankind a favor they're separating the wheat from the chaff you see

[01:11:04] those who are not fit to spiritually evolve to the next level will be left behind or will be cold out of the population that's what they're doing folks it's an active eugenics

[01:11:20] ploy happening in the world right now it was a theoretical and passive one for a long time now they've gone into an active phase and we're stepping into the next level of these things

[01:11:30] right now Swedenborg then says but even if the human race by separation from the divine should perish on one earth which however is provided against by the lord yet still it would continue

[01:11:43] on other earths for there are earths in the universe to some hundreds of thousands as may be seen in the little work on the earths in our solar system called planets and the earths in the

[01:11:57] starry heaven i'm gonna pause for a moment so i think this may be one of his other works once again he's citing from so he's saying there exist other planets so even if mankind wipes himself out

[01:12:08] here he will proceed to another planet manifestation on some other planet and you could see where some of these ideas have been adopted wholesale by the secret schools and promulgated out there in

[01:12:20] works of science fiction to affect the human mind you see we have other places we can go that's what the notion is we don't necessarily need to take care of this earth or ourselves on

[01:12:36] this earth in the physical there's other places we could go so we could separate ourselves from these spiritual notions of things and even if we wipe ourselves out here we can proceed to some

[01:12:47] of these other places and start anew that's one of the ways in which the agenda has been applied here let's read on so it says it has been told me from heaven that the human race would have

[01:13:02] perished on this earth so that not one man would have existed at this day if the lord had not come into the world and assumed the human on this earth and made it divine and also unless the lord

[01:13:15] had given here such a word as would serve the angelic heaven for a basis and conjunction that by the word conjunction is affected of heaven with man may be seen in the work on heaven and hell

[01:13:29] once again quoting himself here so he's making this claim that it was essential for Jesus Christ to come in the guise of a human being in the flesh here to reconcile man with God

[01:13:43] man with spirit otherwise man would have been wiped away entirely and would no longer exist at all but you see he contradicts himself in this term you see how he contradicts himself because he says all

[01:13:56] these things will go on that this is not there's not going to be any end of all of it things will continue as they always have well you just kind contradicted yourself there mr. Swedenborg but

[01:14:11] they take this stuff in the secret schools very seriously and they apply these ideas in ways that are not true to theological considerations but let's go ahead and continue on but that this

[01:14:29] is so can be comprehended only by those who think spiritually that is by those who through the acknowledgement of the divine in the lord are conjoined with heaven for these only can think

[01:14:40] spiritually gonna pause for a moment here folks so if you don't understand what it is he's saying to you or you don't agree with his assessment that's only because you don't see spiritually you see you're just spiritually inferior you're not evolved spiritually into that next phase

[01:14:56] this is the attitude that's been adopted by most of these people in the secret schools you just aren't spiritually evolved enough to understand what they do if you don't accept or agree with their conjectures here that's just because you're inferior spiritually to them

[01:15:16] that's what's being conveyed in that message here you understand and see how these things so quickly become perverted and convoluted let's read on and we're gonna wrap it up next Swedenborg says that the extent of heaven which is for angels is so immense that it cannot be

[01:15:36] filled to eternity is evident from what is said in the chapter on the immensity of heaven in the work on heaven and hell once again quoting himself here and that they are comparatively few of

[01:15:48] whom heaven is as yet formed may be seen in the little work on the earths in the universe once again quoting himself here let's read on next he says that the perfection of heaven increases

[01:16:03] in proportion to its numbers is evident from its form according to which the consociations they're in are arranged in order and its communications flow as the most perfect of all forms and in a

[01:16:16] most perfect form the greater the numbers are the greater is the tendency and common impulse to unity and the closer and more unanimous is the conjunction the common impulse and thereby conjunction increases according to numbers for everything is there inserted as a mediate having

[01:16:34] relation to two or more and thus confirming and conjoining them the form of heaven is like a form of the human mind the perfection of which increases according to the increase of truth and good

[01:16:47] whence it has intelligence and wisdom that the form of the human mind which is in heavenly wisdom and intelligence is like the form of heaven is because the mind is the least image

[01:16:58] of that form hence it is that there is every manner of communication of thoughts and affections for good and truth with such men and with angels with the societies of heaven round about and an extension proportionate to the increase of wisdom and thus proportionate to the number

[01:17:15] of the knowledges of truth implanted in the understanding and to the abundance of the affections of good implanted in the will and therefore in the mind for the mind consists of the understanding and will the human and angelic mind is such that it can be enriched to eternity

[01:17:34] and according as it is enriched it is perfected and this is especially the case when man is led by the Lord for he is then introduced into genuine truths which are implanted in the understanding and into genuine goods which are implanted in the will for the Lord then

[01:17:51] disposes all things of such a mind into the form of heaven until that length it is a heaven in least form from this comparison of what is of the same nature it is plain that by the number of angels

[01:18:05] in heaven is perfected moreover every form consists of various parts a form which does not consist of various parts is not a form for it has no quality and no changes of state

[01:18:19] the quality of every form results from the arrangement of the various parts within it one to another from their mutual relation and from their common impulse to unity by virtue of which every form

[01:18:31] is regarded as one such a form is the more perfect the more parts there are so arranged within it for each one as said above confirms strengthens conjoins and therefore thereby

[01:18:46] perfects but this may be more evident from what has been shown in the work on heaven and hell once again quoting himself especially where it is shown that every society of heaven is a heaven in less

[01:18:58] form and every angel in least also where the form of heaven is described according to which are con associations and communications there and the wisdom of the angels of heaven so i'm going to pause right there so essentially what he's saying is

[01:19:18] the perfect spiritual outcome or perfect manifestation of heaven is this unity of thought the hive mind do you get how all of this has been convoluted and is steering us towards this communist way of thinking first of all and second of all this transhumanist way of thinking

[01:19:42] the unity of mind each one being a small part of the greater whole and when they can communicate and conjoin together in perfect harmony they create this unity of purpose this oneness this reunification into oneness this hive mind these are the things they put forward folks in the

[01:20:07] secret schools that's why transhumanism is the ultimate culmination of their quote unquote great work and they've taken many of swedenborg's ideas and then grafted them into their occult teachings you see how some of this seems to correspond with things they already had as

[01:20:28] preconceived notions let's wrap it up here swedenborg says that every divine work looks to what is infinite and eternal may be evident from the many things which exist both in heaven and in

[01:20:42] the world in neither of which is there ever given any one thing exactly like or the same as another there is no face exactly like or the same as another nor will be to eternity in like manner

[01:20:56] the mind of one is never like that of another and thus there are as many faces in minds as there are men and angels there is never given in any one man in whom however there are innumerable

[01:21:08] parts which constitute his body and innumerable affections which constitute his mind any one thing entirely like or the same as in another man and hence everyone lives a life distinct from the life
